Check your website. Meet the NCSC baseline. Fix what matters.

A free, independent check of any public website against the Nepal National Cyber Security Centre notice on valid SSL/TLS certificates: certificate validity, trusted issuer, HTTPS-only, and TLS 1.2 or 1.3.

Each check is public: the website name and result appear under “Recently checked” below, and the report can be opened by anyone. Reports are not indexed by search engines and are deleted after 90 days.

Nepal's NCSC now requires valid SSL/TLS on official websites

In 2083 B.S. (October 2026), the National Cyber Security Centre asked government bodies to secure their websites:

  • A valid certificate from a trusted issuer, never expired
  • HTTPS only, with TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3
  • SSL, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 switched off
  • Certificates renewed regularly, before they expire

This checker tests the parts a remote scan can see, so any site can see where it stands.
